In my eleven years (so far) on the UK pageant circuit, I have experienced many highs as well as my fair share of lows. I have won two of my dream titles and been awarded a third; but have also walked away from competitions unplaced, and most likely dead last. I've seen every aspect of pageantry as not only and contestant and queen, but also as a compere, director and judge. This little pageant world is my happy place and it's where I've met some of my best friends. Representing my country on an International stage was my dream since I started competing and I finally achieved that when I won the Scottish title at the 2019 UK Power Pageant. As I slowly tick things off my pageantry bucket list, I'm beginning to wonder where I go next. That's where this blog comes in. I'm known for my honesty (yes, the brutal kind) so my aim here is to advise and help, address some taboo subjects and, hopefully, sway some pageant sceptics into actually believing in what we do - because we do good!
